Cabins

Camp in style in one of the new cabins in Loyd Park. Seven of the single or double cabins sleep six people and one cabin is ADA accessible and sleeps four. The cabins are equipped with a kitchen – stove, oven, refrigerator and sink; four-person dinette, bathroom with shower, satellite TV and HVAC. All are fully stocked with bed linens, towels and kitchen utensils. Bring your sense of adventure or enjoy sitting on the large front porch enjoying the lake view.

Meeting Room Cabin

A meeting room cabin that holds up to 40 people completes the perfect family reunion or corporate getaway.

Loyd Lodge

The Grand Prairie Parks, Arts & Recreation Department is now taking reservations for the brand-new 18-room Loyd Park Lodge and the historic Loyd Home on Joe Pool Lake. The fully furnished kitchen, covered porch with rockers, grills, a fire pit, big screen televisions and many more amenities make this a perfect spot for family reunions or corporate and church retreats. Located just steps from the swimming beach.

Individual campsite sizes are large (avg 1000 sq ft.) and each one has a picnic table and pavilion, grill, fire ring, and more Texas tranquility than you can handle!
