Visit Grand Prairie Welcomes Scott Poland

Grand Prairie, July 8th, 2024 – Visit Grand Prairie, the city’s tourism office, is delighted to announce the appointment of Scott Poland as Director of Group Sales. Scott brings a wealth of experience and expertise to the team, making a significant addition to the city’s tourism efforts.

As Director of Group Sales, Scott will be responsible for attracting group business in all markets (leisure, meetings, and sports) to increase the Grand Prairie hotel occupancy and visitor spending. With his proven track record in the tourism industry, Scott is poised to contribute to Visit Grand Prairie's ongoing success and growth initiatives.

Scott holds a bachelor’s degree in hospitality management from the University of North Texas, and he has previously excelled in all facets of the hospitality industry with his most recent stint with the Arlington Convention & Visitors Bureau. With his time in Arlington, he helped grow the tourism market into a premier visitor destination.
